Bio

Everyone can learn and should, is something I live by and take to the classroom with me each day.  I believe we excel and learn to appreciate the world based on our intelligences I also believe that I am ‘Work in progress” and as much as I teach, I am also learning and growing everyday.   The more time it takes for me to get to know someone and enrich their lives is time being spent enriching mine.

I’m a Caribbean native, and love the sun, sand and beautiful beaches of my home country Jamaica where I lived with my husband of 13 years and 3 daughters prior to moving to Arizona.  We moved here in the summer of 2017 and I’ve been teaching 2nd grade at Stanfield Elementary since then.

I love the outdoors and almost anything that seems fun and adventurous.  I am an Arian and believe that most things, in life, should be tried at least once.  This, you certainly cannot tell after brief encounter with my shy and somewhat stoic demeanor.  Don’t be fooled however, my students will all attest that I am a caring, fun loving and silly person at the core.

I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd Grade and 4th grade.
